It's been 5 days since I last posted an entry, so I figured it was about that time again. Thanksgiving was good. Just immediate family plus J were here. Therefore I didn't have to deal with anybody or anything that I don't already routinely deal with. Ed got a new truck over the weekend. I believe it's a 2000 F-150. That's a step up from the Ranger that he trashed. Let's hope that he can keep the new vehicle nice for awhile. (Like at least until he gets it paid off) Might be hard to do with all of those visits to Bubbaz... Speaking of, she called here twice for him today. Maybe she should get the hint that if he dosen't call her, maybe he doesn't want to talk to her. Hmm...

So I'm lying in bed on Sat. night/Sun. morning and I hear this knock on the door. "Help. Help me." I reluctantly roll out of bed and crack the door. It's my brother. "Can you take Dave home?" "Why, what happened?" "I hit two deer on the way home." Not one, but two deer. One half an hour apart from the other. The truck's headlights are gone, grill is missing, radiator is bent, and antifreeze is splashed all over the ground. "How did you see to get home?" "I used the one parking light that's left." That's probably why he hit deer #2. "How far did you drive the truck like that?" "From Madera." Ah, yes. That would be my brother Ed.

Hey, everybody! I just bought my ticket to Stillborn Fest at Club Laga in Pittsburgh. What's Stillborn Fest? Only the biggest and best hardcore fest this year! It's a great way to spend New Year's Eve-Eve. The link to your right will clue you in with more info.
Went to Altoona last night. We had a good time as usual! Picked up the rest of my stuff that I left in the Metro when I traded it in. Went to the mall, Value Ghetto, and Ghetto Gabe's. Also went to Jethro's again where I got myself some chicken marsala! I which I could've tasted it better though, I have a head cold.
Grinder at the Ave. tonight, 1/2 price mixed drinks from 9-11. I believe there's also a special on drafts if you're into that.... Grinder rocks! I wonder if they learned any Slayer yet...
I took Nyquil at 3:30 this morning and I just woke up. I think I totally messed up my sleep cycle. Oh well.
You know what feels really good? Wearing a new pair of socks! : )

Hi, all! I thought I would try regular aerobics as compared to beginner's aerobics last night. I was sweating like a pig. However, I did feel good about myself because now I know that I can keep up with the "experienced" people!
What's going on this weekend? A lot, actually. Grinder is playing at Pokey's tonight. My people at work have told me that Pokey's is a dive, so it sounds like that should be a good time. Roadkill is playing at Pete & Mel's tonight also. Tomorrow is a band that I've never heard of , Empire, playing at Pete & Mel's. They're highly recommended by Shawn Webster, some dude that J went to school with in 7th grade. We hooked up with him last weekend. Anyway, there's more info about bands and such in the Ad Bargain. I love that paper! Did you ever take note of the various crap that people try to sell in there?
How about that wind/snow/ice storm yesterday? People were telling me that the Interstate was completely shut down. One lady was at the Dubois exit at 9PM last night and didn't make it to Clearfield until 4AM. That would suck ass.
So, life in general is going pretty well. All is quiet, this is good.

Hi! Another wildly exciting weekend is over and it's time to get back to work. Friday we went for wings at Mary's, like usual. They supposedly have karaoke there every Fri., but nobody was there while we were eating. We stayed 'til about 10, then moved on. Wal-Mart was a happening place to be, so I got some actual shopping done before we went to Pete & Mel's for Roadkill. There was a pretty good crowd out there and we were able to amuse ourselves for awhile before we went home for another night of watching cable TV. Sat. we went to Dubois to get crickets for my gecko and I took advantage of my coupon from Bath and Body Works. I love that place! We checked out Eric's band at his party. They're good at what they do, but I'm not real into the Led Zeppelin thing that they have going on. Of course, not everybody is into the stuff that's in my CD player either. Lol. After that we zipped over to Jackson's for some more Roadkill. I was upset that two nights in a row Greg wasn't playing with the band. What happened to Greg?? (It's not like I actually know him, I think I met him once when I was drunk, but he has pretty cool hair!) I think we may have left a little too early... Anyway, we went to Clearfield and drove around looking for Dave and the crew. We didn't find them, but we found Jenn. I went home frustrated and cranky that night. I hate driving around looking for people. From now on when I find something going on at a bar that I like, I'm not leaving and going looking for something better. It just never works out! Oh yeah, something else to rant about: People need to have more after-hours parties! I'm never ready to go home when the bars close!

Hi, All! Happy birthday to Eric, if he actually reads my blog! : ) A pack of Camel and a 40 is coming your way... that is if you don't include me with not wanting to associate with humanity and all that. Of course, I guess he'll associate with people on Sat., seeing as how that's party day. Anyway, I understand the "I don't want to deal with people" attitude... lol.
I was thinking of posting something clever here on the site on the way home, but now I don't remember what that was...
I ate my pomegranate yesterday. It's full of seeds, but I love the juice and that part around the seed!

Life is like flip-flop paint on an AMC Pacer. One minute you love it, the next it changes colors right before your eyes.

I bought a pomegranate at Wal-Mart last night. Now if I could only figure out how to eat it! I guess that's what the internet is for!
And now my moment of emo:
Hope glimmers gold on the surface, aware of the threatening undercurrent flowing just below.

Halloween has come and gone for yet another year. I had a blast this year though! We partied with Grinder at the Leather and Lace and I have the pics to prove it! I need to get my ancient film developed though, I never did buy that digi cam. However, I did install my scanner on my new PC, so there will be pics eventually, like before Christmas! : ) After we got bored with the L&L we went to the Ave. and hung out, met new friends, and went to the Clearfield Truckstop, yeehaw! I'm not going to elaborate, but it was quite the enjoyable evening....
