I watched the John Miller Program last night. I'm pretty sure that I'm bad luck. As of late everything I get involved with takes nasty twists or just doesn't go as well as planned. For example, the JMP was at least 15 minutes late getting on the air, their phone system was down, the host of the show nearly had a coronary because he was so frustrated, etc. This went on for the first hour of the show, the second hour was a little more organized. I still didn't get to see the end of the program because they ran over 11PM. At that point I was ready to crawl into bed, which I did. Damn daylight shift!
I wish I knew what my plans were for this evening. As of right now I'm a little pissy, maybe I need to take a nap and rethink my situation. Oh yeah, I need to shave again too. Does electrolysis really remove unwanted hair forever? If so, then I think I may need to look into having that done. What's a few hundred bucks when you never have to shave again?? I hate spending lengthy amounts of time in the bathroom.

Ugh, busy day. My day started at 5AM. It took 15 minutes and some trickery for me to get Shadrach the greyhound to go out to pee before I left for work. I got to work at 7AM, and from 7 til 3:30PM it was nonstop lab work. I got home from work and finally got to take a nap until about 5:30. Then I ate, went to check on Shadrach again, and found that his owners had returned home and that my dogsitting duty was over. Mom and I went to the mall. She got some Nike shoes that were on sale, and I bought crickets for the gecko. I got home again, put the crickets in the cage, fed the gecko, fed the hamster, washed up, and here I am surfing. This has been my day. I lead a pretty lame life when you think about it...

My day started off with a bang at 3AM. We had severe weather roll through our part of the world. Loud thunder, wicked lightning, sheets of rain, it was the kind of storm where you curl up with your boyfriend and let him protect you.
What's goin' on today? I'm dogsitting!

Talked to my friend Erin O. yesterday. According to her, you're not cheating on your boyfriend if you kiss or make out with another boy. However, there cannot be any touching of "sacred" parts ("sacred" parts is a direct quote from Erin) and there can't be any sex. Lol, this is why I love Erin!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to publish last night's dream. Some kid was breaking into my car, so I chased them down. Somehow we both ended up in my car at the end of the street. The kid was driving, and we started to go back towards my house in reverse. The car had no brakes though, and it just kept going backwards until it crashed down over the hill, flipping end over end, until it lodged in some trees. The kid and I were standing at the top of the hill, watching it all happen. I don't know how we got out of the car and to the top of the hill. I remember saying, "My parents are going to kill me!" I was pretty upset about the horrific loss of the Ghettro.
I sat outside with my morning tea today. It was beautiful outside! Nice summer mornings lead to great summer days which ultimately lead to wonderful summer nights! Stop reading this blog and go outside right now! Enjoy the weather, we don't have many nice days left in central PA!
There's a new link to your left. Go to emode, take some quizzes. They're fun, although a little stupid. How true are those things, anyway?

Hi, all! Haven't updated in a few, so I figured I'd better type something tonight. I had to be at work at 6AM this morning, so I'm kind of sleep deprived. Gotta go in again at 6AM tomorrow too, so by Fri. I'll be a little loopy. Anyway, just letting ya'll know I'm still alive. I'm off to surf the net and find an affordable jacuzzi room somewhere! : )

What a weekend... It started Friday night when we went to Mary's Place for the 5 cent wings. Like usual, J & I got the hot ranch and California wings, beer for him and Mt. Dew for me. Then Aubrie and Dave showed up. Aubrie ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and I just had to have an Alabama Slammer. After enjoying our alcoholic beverages, we rode in Dave's Jeep (without the top on, now I want a Jeep too!!) to the bowling alley and bowled 3 games. After that, it was off to Buster's and the DI to party. I didn't make it home until 4:30AM Sat. morning. Let's just say I didn't spend all of my time at the bar! : ) Saturday, all day Sat., was the C-ville Moose picnic and the VFW picnic. I was assigned the role of designated driver since I didn't drink at all that day. In fact, I fell asleep at 11PM while J was on the computer and Headbanger's Ball was on TV. (By the way, yes Dave, I did tape it for you.) Sunday was the Boydathon, and of course I had to go to it. It was a pretty good show. I got to see the majority of it and had a few drinks before it was time to go home. I had work today and now I'm really tired, but at least I have a reason for feeling run down today! Now that I've updated ya'll on the weekend events, I think I'll go put my jammies on and crawl into bed. Yes, it is only 8PM. : )

MAJOR power outage in the Northeast... My question is, is this due to too many air conditioners, or is it terrorism? The sense of anxiety and fear is in the air again. New Yorkers are walking from Manhatten, reminiscent of September 11th. I don't like it. The problem is too widespread for me to accept that it is a simple power overload. If overload is indeed the problem, then let's hope that there aren't any contributing factors lurking in the shadows.
Side note: I'll be genuinely pissed if I lose my electricity.
Finally, real summer days are here! It's supposed to cool down again on Sat. though. Bummer.

How about that internet worm, MSBlast or W32/LovSan? Lucky I have a Mac, although I did just put a Sony Vaio on layaway. Perhaps I should rethink my purchase, or maybe install Linux on it instead of the standard Windows XP. I guess I could find the website for the patch now, write down the addy, and make that my first stop online when I get my new machine up and running. Or I could just install Linux, but I know nothing about it.
The good parts about August in Pennsylvania... Evening sun on a golden hay field. The smell of warm goldenrod, Queen Ann's Lace, and earth. Warm, humid summer evenings. Evening primrose opening and their lemon-like blooms. Crickets and tree frogs singing.

I'm tired, again. I got home from work tonight and crashed out in my room for an hour. I think there's something wrong with me. Maybe I should get my blood tested. I work in a lab, it would take 5 minutes to get blood drawn and another 20 to run the associated tests on it. Maybe if I just keep taking my vitamins, which I've neglected to do lately, I wouldn't get this tired.
Today is neighborhood "mow the lawn day." That's probably because it's finally not raining.

In the weird dream category... J and I were standing on a country lane looking at a small field with woods behind it. Suddenly, a flock of wild turkeys appeared out of the woods. From the left came some llamas, and one little one had rabies. I had it pinned down to the ground when I woke up. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what this dream may mean?
Rain, rain go away! Come back when the ground is a little less saturated...
My brother moved back home. This means I have to label my food again. Damnit.

This is my first entry in my brand new blog. This is all new to me, so as I think of things to add I'll update.
